Loved the excitement of being here for New Years Eve. Trying different types of food, fried ice cream yum, walking around and enjoying the market and street atmosphere, enjoying the vibe with many travellers and watching the lighting and balloons that light up the street

If you like high energy pub street culture this area is great. The music volume is VERY loud and the streets very crowded. Good markets and restaurants all through the area.

Pub street is a very touristy area but it has all sorts of great food, excellent people-watching opportunities, bars, retail stalls, shopping, a big night market and general chaos. You have to go just to check out the scene.

So many restaurants with great ambience. Great vibe. Feels super alive. And food costs just as much as those tourist traps serving mediocre Khmer food with zero ambience.

You should bring USD as it's a second and official currency in Cambodia. Bring small notes as most of the restaurants don't take 100 dollar bills. I will suggest you to rent a Tuk Tuk (always bargain the price) for a day... More
