The Khleang Temples are close to where our tuk tuk driver took us to get food after we visited the main Angkor Wat temple. Plenty of great photo opportunities amongst the ruins and trees.

The north and south khleangs are interesting buildings with nice lintels and windows. It is unknown what their function is. They are called khleangs or store buildings. This is however, misleading. They are easy to visit. They are in front of the elephant terrace. They are not visited very much. If you are more than average tourist, take a look.

Across the road from the Elephant Terrace, the North and South Khleang (along with the twelve towers of Prasats Sour Prat) were on either side of the Victory Gate that lead to the palace. Now, the ruins are somewhat neglected as other areas of Angkor Thom have received the attention of reconstruction and tourism. Thought they are in plain site as you drive through Angkor Thom there are next to no visitors to the ruins across the street and just a few paths through the grass to get to them. If you want to see something more than the average visitor these ruins are for you.
