Fantastic temple

I think I prefer ankgor thom to ankgor wat. It's quite a large impressive complex and even thought it's close to town it's a lot quieter than ankgor wat.

If you've been to Angkor Wat then the other temples will just be meh. Like, you'll get so used to seeing temples and stuff.

We spent 15 days on the Millennium. The Staff were well trained, the food excellent, and the ship clean. The ports weren't the highlights. Recommend going to Japan 1 week earlier as there is so much to do and see. The local food was outstanding. Lance Angers

Fantastic temple and start at the lake on the left side for a fabulous reflection shot. The walk in over the bridge is as advertised.

It is worth trying to fit Angkor Thom into a one day visit to Angkor Archaeological Park, and a must do if you are on a two or three day visit. It feels dreamlike and is less busy than the main Angkor Wat site.

We entered thru the South Gate of Angkor Thom. Cars, tuk-tuks and people squeeze thru the gate. Carved Buddha statues to the left and right of the bridge over the water are in a "tug-o-war" and offer beautiful photos. It really is amazing to explore this complex, a larger scale than Angkor Wat, with lots of goodies crammed into one... More

This is a must when visiting Siem Reap, Most of the main temples are located fairly close together. I hired a car and driver for the day at a cost of $35US which i thought was a reasonable price, the driver dropped me to the entrance to each temple and waited at the exit. If you go by bus this...
