IT isn't too big but beautiful! I feel like being in a maze when we were in the narrow path. you would feel amazed about all those carvings! It is much better than the Terrace of the Elephants in my opinion. Anyway, they are very closed tot each other so mostly tourists would visit them together. Spending about 15 minutes... More

A must visit in Angkor Thom, it represents the architecture style of the Khmer rulers. The intricate carvings depict scenes from Hindu mythology, the Naga, the underworld, the apsaras and the various gods.

The Terrace of the Leper King is worth a short stop if you are visiting Angkor Thom. You walk through a maze-like narrow path surrounded by a tall wall full of leper figures - it really is quite a sight! Also visit the Terrace of the Elephants next door.

This is like a little maze. It's very much like many Hindu temples that you might have seen, but there seems to be another wall outside it. With my guide leaving me to have a wander round by myself, I am sure that many of the details were lost on me. Definitely worth a little walk though.

A trench like path follows the walls where the inner surface is carved with scenes of seated male figures with drawn swords flanked by attendant devatas. Below are five-, seven-and nine-headed nagas. The reliefs are outstanding.

This is a small maze filled with amazing carvings all along the wall. To explore this area it should take you less than 20 minutes if you decided to go to the top. You might not see anyone else here and might encounter locals trying to give a tour of the area claiming to be collage students (happens a lot... More

Lot of bare wall space on the internal passage, i assume for renovation and signs directing people away from the outside carvings. This should be very nice if and when the restoration is completed.
