It is very easy to get there, and it gives you a beautiful full view of the city. You could also put a padlock with your partner if you wanted to!

Rather strenous climb to the top of the mirador but very rewarding. Beautiful view of the sea, the port and the colourful houses of Punta Arenas. This was our goodbye walk of Patagonia.

Even though it was a cloudy, grey day, the view from here is wonderful. Looking across the many rooftops to the Pacific, looking down to the small plaza with the handful of craft booths, a lovely sense of the city and its people.

Small viewpoint above the city that has a great overall view of the city and the Straits. Did see public transportation to the site. Nice bronze compass in the platform. Obviously a popular place.

The monument and it's background are interesting. The view is terrific. You can see all of PA and the Magellan Straight. Worth the walk.

Beautiful view that gives you a lovely overview of the city. It’s definitely worth the visit but given the location, dress warmly! It’s cold and windy! The ‘Love locks’ were cute.

A short steep drive and you arrive and a very good vantage point to view the city and waterfront. Great place to take some memorable photographs. There are also some markets there for those who like to shop, with reasonable prices. If visiting Punta Arenas,...More
