What a really interesting cemetery. Such a range of nationalities, fortune, class etc. From the marble family mausoleums and elaborate chapels to the concrete above ground slots for the less well off. Beautifully maintained and lots of interesting and touching responses to the death of...More

A short walk out of town this is a very well laid out and presented cemetery. All sorts of burial plots and interesting to read some of the history. Only need about an hour but worth doing.

An unusual place on the tourist trail but still quite interesting. Only need a short time to have a quick look around. Lovely trees and some very impressive tombs.

No one does cemeteries like the Spanish Catholics. They contain so many works of art. Don't miss the one here, one of the best.

Spacious, green, tranquility. Not a must, must see, but one of the most impressive and beautiful cemeteries ever seen. Also a quite haven in busy Punta Arenas. Don't be to touristic, most people come to pay respect to a relative

Was taking a walk about in the town and decided to drop into the cementeria upon the recommendation of the hostal owner. Felt eerie probably because that was a rainy and cloudy day. The rows of pruned trees were a great sight though.
