Beautiful cemetery that is peaceful and gives you an inside look into the lives of the Chilean people.

This is a large area and contains a variety of simple plots to elaborate and ornate family mausoleum. It is easy to walk around and explore. There is no charge to enter.

A well laid out set of walkways and tombs with many small trees and some flowers. Spent about an hour just walking around here looking at the various tombs -- some plain, some very fancy. One of the best cemeteries I have visited.

I had heard that the Punta Arenas Cemetery was "worth visiting", but that is an understatement. This is a special place...unique, beautiful, and an expected dose of "eerie", of course. Don't miss it

Good journey to see nice architecture of the cemetery. The size is smaller than cemetery Recolleta in Aregentina, but still worth visited while you are in Punta Arenas
