Great place for strolling in Punta Arenas. Bird watchers would delight at the abundance and variety of species just sitting on the old piers. Very neat to watch and plenty of photographic opportunities.

This is a nice relaxing walk along the sea front on a very wide pavement. As you look out to sea you will see old run down piers that are usually full of different type of sea birds, great for photographing.

Very nice and quiet and peaceful area. Go for a stroll or rent a bike. If the weather is good sit and look at the strait and ships passing. And watch the numerous different species of birds on the pier.

Several spots on the waterfront where the wildlife gather on old Piers. We drove the length of it to and from the Port to downtown and also walked a section.

Encountered the place when strolling -- in certain light it might be a very interresting spot for photos . Cormorans, seagulls - present.

I love the smell of an ocean. This is a great outdoor leisurely activity to do while in Punta Arenas. I felt safe here as well.
