It runs along Magallanes strait and is a great place for a walk. Great views of the sea and the Tierra del Fuego island.

We enjoyed the walk up the beack front....though the stray dogs did concern us as they go around in packs...it was good to be able to hire bikes for a few hours.

Just one of the beautiful monuments in the city. It commemorates the original 22 settlers. It is well thought out and beautifully executed.

Went over to take photos but it was under maintenance and the hoses were everywhere. Trying to get a nice shot but I just cannot get too close

It was great to see a modern sculpture celebrating the culture's history. It's in stark contrast to the old buildings and portrays a vision of pride in the history and of hope in the future.
