The park itself isn't as nice as Bailuzhou, but the sunset views are more than worth the visit. There are bars and restaurants near the waterfront, as well as a small amusement park, water fountain display and decent walking paths.

Our business group of 4 ate in the Hawan Park at the JJ BBQ Restaurant. We spoke with the owner, he recommended a full platter of food, great selection, Happy Hour. No live music this time like they usually have. Good times.

Went here regularly whilst living in Xiamen. Numerous restaurants and bars to choose from. Food from most is average to very good; western style mainly. Main attraction is live bands/music. Worth visiting.

Went for stroll in the evening and witnessed the beautiful sunset scene. Saw a few kids building sand castles along the narrow strips of sand. There's also a big playground there. Many eateries there as well.

I enjoyed my stay at Xiamen most after discovering the live music bars at the park. One must listen the X-over Band and it's real symphatic and cute singer Linette with her very best performance at the stage of The Key Club.

This is a park between the sea and main road. Nice car free area for a walk, picknick or just to chill. There's a chikdrens playground which makes it ideal for families during the day. However, during the day none of the bars, restaurants or...More

Take a walk by the beech at the Hai wan park. You can catch sun-setting behind Zhangzhou as you walk. In the night the bars & restaurant burst to life providing good evening food and live band entertainment.

Everybody knows the cliche of the asian band with the ugly synthesizerplayer witn the three singing/ dancing girls. One to skinny, one to fat and one can t sing. This is different . The podium for new talent in the region. Sometimes ballads, sometimes hardrock...More
