An excellent and easy day out if your in Shenzhen on business. 25 minutes walk from the underground via Huaqiang Road (electronic, copy phones, etc) will bring you to this beautiful leafy urban park. Full of locals, joggers and butterfly catchers, this really is a wonderful place to escape the noise and bustle of Shenzhen. Pack a lunch and make... More

Shenzhen can be a very mountainous in many areas and Bijiashan Park is one of them. It is a an exercise and climbing park and stone steps will take you up to the top for a great view of the city from up there. You need good knees for this climb to the top which takes quite a while to... More

This park has numerous different types of walking tacks and bush walks for all types of walkers. The grasslands makes it great for hang outs and catch ups, and the view from the top of the hill is to die for. Though make sure you go on a clearish day. If it's smoggy then you'll practically see nothing.

Like so many of China's beautiful parks, Bi Jia Shan park is not an exception. The excitement, trafficnoise and pollution in Shenzhen is at times so troublesome, that being able to retire to a quiet park is well. The park is huge, with long and numerous hiking trails. Beautiful flower and beautiful trees. The park also has a separate area... More
