Dong men pedestrian street is an area which consist of a lot of shops and mini stalls where you can find whatever you want ranging from souvenirs, clothes, bags and hand made curtains... All are sold at a very cheap price and in good quality. plenty of food stalls, hawker stalls and restaurant as well as fast food restaurant available and it is very near the lao jie metro station. It is the best place to shop if you are interested in shopping.

Lot of chinese migrants shop here.Lot of pickpockets too.they work in team. Not suitable for family. Very very crowded especially during the weekends or Holidays. Dangerous place if you are not alert enough. Street foods are kind of unhygienic.

Just walk around@dong men . Went there after our trip to hongkong . Easy access via public transport . We use the train from the border between shenzhen and hongkong . I found 1 halal noodle restaurant but i forgot the name of the restaurant
