You will be surprised by the buildings and the surrounding though it is not too easy to go there by bus. Fresh air and blue sky. However if by taxi it can be pretty expensive. I would suggest to join the local tour. The place offer a decent vegetarian lunch. It is delighting simple.

A beautiful Buddhist Temple located near Wang Bao reservoir. I was lucky that my Macau friends wanted to show me this incredible temple during a busy working day. It is somewhat of route, but absolutely worth visiting if you have the opportunity.

A fair way out of Zhuhai by bus, but well worth the trip. The main Temple was absolutely fantastic to see, set in a very nice location.

Clear blue waters in the lake was picturesque! The temple on the hill was beautiful and it was windy and scenic! Would recommend for a day trip out of Zhuhai! You can also pass by some lychee plantations on the way back to Zhuhai via Doumen, and the lychees are freshly picked and sweet and juicy! A hidden gem!

The temple is very beautiful but difficult to get to if you are a tourist in HK or Zhuhai. Located in the mountains in the Douman area it will require a driver to access. Parking is at the bottom of a steep hill so the walk can be difficult. Once at the top, the views are spectacular.

This is a relatively continually updated temple high on a mountain in Doumen County. Views are spectacular over the reservoir.

A wonderful and calm place to visit. To the west of the city amongst some beautiful scenery and mountains. The journey there gives some real views of rural china. Stop at the side of the road for some good food or to buy honey and local produce. A really good day out with perfect views and traditional chinese buildings, also free to enter.

Nice Location, set in a small park with a lake, but the temple is nothing special. Busy at weekends.

Not a whole lot to do while in Zhuhai. But this attraction is a nice afternoon trip. This temple was built over 1000 years ago and is a nice walk around a beautiful reservoir. The climb to the temple is not difficult and has a nice view at the top. Not a big attraction but worth a see if you would like to spend a afternoon exploring.

Reachable in about 1.5-2 hours from central Zhuhai, its a nice excursion to the countryside. There is a dam at the bottom, with the bluest water. There are a fair few steep stairs to reach the temple but nothing too strenuous. We went because we wanted to catch the vegetarian lunch (located at the car park level down from the temple itself. For 20RMB you get a vegetarian buffet that was delicious!!! See turtles, prayer flags, incense and monks. Awesome experience for my first temple visit and we went on a beautiful sunny and clear day, which made for lots of photo opportunities. Please bear in mind the turtles before thinking about throwing a coin into the coi pond.
