Located in the hills this culture park seemed to offer a lot but did not deliver. The shows and the "villagers" seemed very artificial and tired, and people management was chaotic. Altogether, it presented a rather sad impression of the minority peoples it should have been celebrating. Our visit was very disappointing.

For starters the various trees, flowers, and other plant-life found throughout the expansive cultural attraction are beautiful. Many flowers and fruit trees are described in the historical culture at various points on the tourist trail. Other cultural features of the Li and Miao people are... More

Badly organised. Too much cruelty to the animals used for show and picture taking. The carts are available only if you are ready to give extra under table money which the driver and your guide will split. We had to pay because we had an old American couple. The rest of us walked. As usual nobody speaks English in sanya.... More

The attraction is about 40 minutes from Sanya - we took a local guide who drove us there and back. This is a poorly organised site with lots and lots of little 'ethnic' shops selling pretty much the same stuff - mostly silverware. the quality is not bad and the prices are fixed, it's just that there're too many of... During our one day trip to Sanya, Bing Lang Gu 梹榔谷 was the only place that we had visited. A place that you will get to know it history. It is named Binglanggu because it is formed by a valley, several kilometerslong, covered with thousands of areca palms and lush jungle on both slopes.
