I struggled with a rating of average to very good but what I can tell you is there are opportunities for discounts at the kiosk using Chinese Credit Card so try to go with someone that is local. The experience is confusing. There are three parts to the tower. The first part I was upset because it is outside and at the time it was -13 C then I learned this was not the official viewing area which is up some stairs where they have a café for chocolate, tea and coffee and snacks and a cell phone charging area. this area also has an interactive fortune telling wheel which was cool. Then there is another level that is enclosed and is a temple/shrine for praying and giving alms. Your ticket also allows you to enter the air museum. This place was a very small exhibit hall in my opinion but check out the airport models and also the interactive computer board where it places cute emojis on your head and face. This is fun and my friends and I spent about 15 minutes there taking pictures of hour computer animated generated hats, beards, flying saucers and etc. there are a few restaurants and gifts shops in this place. This place is outdate and needs updating but it is worth the trip if you have time. I don't know about the revolving restaurant but I was told it western food. I can't confirm this. the security process was easy. There are no people pressuring you for pictures or gifs which is a pleasant surprise compared to Shenyang Tower, Guangzhou Tower and Shanghai observation towers.

This tower offers a nice view of Harbin provided that the weather conditions allow it. After the payment of the ticket (150RMB some how expensive) you can take the elevator and reach the restaurant (may not be open for public since it can be booked for weddings, birthdays, children parties etc) at the height of 186m. Then you must take the stairs up to 203m where is the Café. There you can enjoy your coffee and the view (hint: If you carry drinks, water bottles, lighters must leave them at the entrance of the tower). Subsequently you can visit the level of 206m where there are some statues of Gods, and a wheel of...past life (you will not find out what you were in your past life unless you have someone to translate- communication in foreign languages is difficult in Harbin). Subsequently you should take the stairs down to level 190m in order to go outside the tower, walk the perimeter and if you are romantic you could leave a lock hanging on some handrail in order your relationship to last :). Then it is time to walk the perimeter of the disk again but on a glass path this time at 181m. After finishing you take the elevator from the 181m down to 3rd Floor, where you can visit a small exhibition of dinosaurs, a scene of rural life and play some game (e.g. shoot some tanks or helicopters) in one of the rooms (the last 3 things are included in your ticket and the employee shall tick your ticket upon entrance). Overall experience was positive and depending on your mood you could spend one to three hours there.

Perfect place! We spent at least 3 hours on it.
The lower part of the tower is an aviation museum, where there is probably a lot of interesting information, but there is no dubbing, at least in English.
There is a glass elevator leading up to the tower itself, and the view from it is magnificent. There are several levels upstairs, including a revolving restaurant and outdoor area.
The view from the open area is simply impressive. We were there on a clear day, the whole city was visible.
The glass walkway in the space museum is located along the entire perimeter of the tower. Even taking into account the dirty glass and beams underneath, walking along it is quite scary.
The restaurant is good, the food is delicious, the drinks too. It makes a full circle in about 1.5 hours. The view is beautiful. Of the minuses, the menu has absolutely no pictures and there is no translation into at least English.
This TV tower is definitely worth the time and money spent on it.

There is a bit of waiting around to do and if the weather is hazy, the views are not spectacular. There is indoor and outdoor viewing from 180 m up, so bring warm clothes in the winter.

Very average tower, view is not too "wow" and windows poorly maintained. 150 kuai were a little too much for such deceiving experience. Recommend other iconic towers like the one in Shanghai or Guangzhou. The absence of pictures shows my deception after visiting the tower.

We visited on a clear day, however from the top visibility was very poor. Where the frozen river should have been was just a hazy mist, and the ribg of smojestacks in every direction really didn't help.
The tower itself was pretty disappointing considering the 150 RMB tickets, but the displays on the 2nd floor were interesting.

I would give this one a pass. We visited on a clear day, but, whether because of the pollution or some other factor, could see very little. It was also quite pricey, at 150 RMB for an adult ticket.
My kids did like the small dinosaur display on the second floor.

Our Harbin private tour includes tasting Russian Western food in the revolving restaurant. It's a good experience. We can see the whole Harbin from a very high place. nice try.
