We took half day to walk into streets and lanes to find something special, like destroyed building or ready to pull down, and some were reconstructed, with fake aura.

If it is your first time in Harbin, you should visit Lao DaoWai, have a great place that does and sweet sugar food, (cannot remember the name), the area is full of history and one of my favourite places visit.

there are a lot of cloth store,cake store, food store, shop and school, bus, texi. many people like walk to buy many toys in there.

If you only have a limited amount of time l give this a miss. It's being gentrifed and slowly replaced with reproduction and turned into a strip mall H&M is already advertising.
