Interesting visit which looks at the history of silk manufacturing and on silk importance through the various dynasties. Equipment from the silk industry and live silkworms on display. Air conditioned museum with a nice little coffee shop in the centre. Nice layout. Worth a visit.

The museum is excellent if you like this kind of thing and you can actually see how silk items are produced right in front your eyes. Then you can buy just about everything in silk in very good prices.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but well done! Lots of English signage, relatively few people, interesting displays, well lite, and clean. Good for those who want a little history, some fashion, and so on. Even has a small coffee/snack shop.
