We visited here as part of our tour, and I was pleasantly surprised by the information. I'd never heard of some of the items being made from silk and how apparently good they are. Needless to say I have come home with a silk quilt!!

Museum shows how silkworm grows, is harvested and how silk is produced.. Good learning experience.. Goods are very expensive.. Courier service is available which delivers your purchase to the address given .. Good visit..

We marvelled at the intricate craftsmanship in designing and manufacturing premier quality bedding, apparel, and artwork. And it’s possible to buy them from the excellent in-house retail outlet.

Tour guide said this is an average place to see but we found this to be one of the best things in Suzhou as we did not grade the gardens with any stars

Yes it does. Go early only open from 9 am to 3 pm... Nice silk wear to buy... Credit card accepted. Enjoy.
