This is a famous temple in Suzhou, which attracts many tourists every day.Hanshan Temple has many unique features of Suzhou，For example, the tiles on the roof, the huge ancient Chinese bell, and the Buddhas believed in in China. There's a famous poem about Hanshan Temple, It's A night-mooring near maple bridge（枫桥夜泊 in Chinese）
Beside，Hanshan Temple will ring the ancient bell during the Chinese New Year to signify the arrival of the new year.
Hanshan Temple seems to be human, and it feels calm and quiet, like an old man who has experienced many vicissitudes.

月落乌啼霜满天，江枫渔火对愁眠，姑苏城外寒山寺，夜半钟声到客船。
This historical Mahayana Buddhism temple is well-known nationwide and it is perhaps not surprising that the above poem is associated with it.
Despite this historical context, you will not find any English tour guide here, which is not great if you don’t understand Chinese. The land area isn’t big too, but if you want to visit a historically well known local temple and see devotees visiting and praying, this is the place to be,

This temple is truly beautiful and has characteristic Chinese architecture. The water canal beside the temple looks amazing in the late afternoon light. It is a fairly large temple with several different sections. Incense sticks were placed by visitors in front of the deities and the entire place smelled heavenly and the atmosphere was peaceful. The legend of the saints, Han & Shan was quite interesting and holds a special place in the hearts of the locals and visitors from other cities.
I was surprised that we were allowed to wear shoes inside the temple. The statues of HAN & SHAN and the main large statue of Buddha looked beautiful. I wanted to spend a long time there, but had to leave because of time restrictions. I would love to visit the temple again.

Although the places has not changed compared with 10 years ago, they put many Chinese Slogan on the wall that destroy the motivation for photo taking.
Also the shop outside the temple were still the same that selling the fake always, please don't buy anything outside the tourist area.

It is a Taoist temple famous for it variety of Bell use for century. They will bang the bell during Eve of Chinese new Year. There is a entrance fee of RMB20 for adult. If you like to ring the bell, you need to pay exact.
My advise is to get a tour guide inside the temple to fully appreciate the temple and understand the history of this temple. Please do not get the guide outside the temple as they are not professional.

An interesting Buddhist temple which has a central pagoda-like structure. There are many buildings with Buddhist statues. The temple covers a large area with multiple historic artifacts such as bronze bells. The grounds are serene and quiet - more so on weekdays than on weekends. Because of the historic significance to Suzhou, it is worth visiting. 1-2 hours is enough time. For certain make a donation, receive a red ribbon to record your wishes for the future, and fasten the ribbon to a tree for good luck.

It is better organized every time when I visited there. Well maintained structurally and aesthetically. The outskirts area attracted much of my attention than the temple itself. The garden and canal interweave beautifully together.

This used to be one of ten most famous temples in China with construction starting in 502AD. However it is the poem supposedly written by Tang poet Zang Zi which attracts a largely Chinese tourist crowd. It is located on outskirts of Suzhou so also affords opportunity view local daily life in travelling to/from this location.

The Hanshan temple monastery, founded some 1500 years ago, is a considerable site worth to visit not just because it is a typical Chinese temple but more because of its elaborate design of all details, from the roof tiles through embroidery on curtains to the stone pattern of the walkways. Beside the main Buddha there are plenty of symbolic sculptures from Chinese legends and mythology. The view from the 5-story pagoda is very nice, especially over the lush park in direction of the great bell tower, which houses a really amazing big bell with an even more amazingly booming sound. Believer’s dreams come true when chiming this bell three times! Go and try, just for few Yuan extra! The big bell is almost 10 m high and more than 5 m wide and looks quite new. There is another, smaller bell in a tower inside the temple compound. This one looks very old and visitors queue up here to chime it three times for good luck. The lingering sound of the two bells fills the air and may have inspired the poet Zhang Ji some 1250 years ago to compose a melancholic poem, which made the temple and its location at a river with a nice arc bridge so famous in east Asia and which Chinese and Japanese children still today have to learn at elementary school in both countries. That’s another reason for so many visitors striking the bells at Hanshan temple. The whole ensemble breathes a very friendly, relaxing and spiritual atmosphere which alone would be worth to come here to escape from the hustle and bustle of the world outside.

Packed with tourists on the weekend but go during the weekday and you can actually slow down and enjoy the scenery and art.

買い物の合計20万円が基準（海外市価の合計額）
合計額が20万円を超える場合には、20万円以内におさまる品物が免税になり、その残りの品物に課税されます。
税関は、旅行者の皆さんに有利になるように、免税となる品目を選択の上、課税します。
1個で20万円を超える品物、例えば、25万円のバッグは25万円の全額について課税されます。
1品目ごとの海外市価の合計額が1万円以下のものは、原則として免税となります。（例えば、1コ1,000円のチョコレート9コや1本5,000円のネクタイ2本は免税になります。）別送品と合計額で課税対象になるかどうかです。サイズは関係ありません。
寒山寺は一つのブランドになっているので割と高額です。友人が高僧に書を書いてもらい大きさは80cm角位で80万円しました。書を丸めて持ち込み、額装は日本でしました。
