This is a must see in Jinan. There are many great photo opps. and the surrounding city places offer good food and some good bars. Plan to spend all day.

I visited this spring in my second day in Jinan and I was blown away! The gardens are well tended are the selection of flowers on show are beautiful. The spring is obviously very well maintained. It would be quite easy to spend a couple of hours here as there is a lot to see! Entry is 40RMB which is... More

I agree with those reviewers who have commented that if you have seen other Chinese parks, there is nothing remarkable about it. I visited it on a Sunday in June with a Jinan resident. She was apologetic about the polluted appearance of the water. As a respite from the rush of the city, it has its merit, but I think... More

This is the most famous Spring in Jinan although there are other springs spreading across this northern city. If you like Chinese garden and history, esp. about literature, like Li Qing Zhao, this is a very good place to visit. Also, you can buy one bowel of tea claimed to be made from Baotu spring water while enjoying the beautiful... More

lovely walk along the river bank here. its right in the middle of the city and is a lovely peaceful break from the constant traffic. take the boat tour too. great spot to watch the locals gathering mineral water from the springs or having a swim in the mineral pool.

I thank IT for saving me money to shoot so many photos, which would have cost me a bomb had I gone on conventional SLRs. This place has innumerable angles to capture. Every turn of the eye - my eyes - show up a great photo, almost award-winning. The best part is I didn't have to pay any admission fee.... More

A large natural spring bubbles up in the center of this park. It can be crowded on weekends and holidays, but you can always find a quiet shady corner to relax and escape the heat of Jinan. People fill their water bottles and play in shallow areas of the spring. There is no swimming area. The ticket can be purchased... More

It's a park. It has fresh-water springs in it. You pay to get in. Ok, those three pertinent remarks stated, let's put them into context. It is a park, it is a nice park. It is a nicely sculpted, inner-city park. It is no nicer than any number of other Chinese inner-city parks, including those that are free to access.... More
