Great large beach but it can get busy during the high season. There isn't too much in the area though.

Make sure to beat the crowds in the time just before summer starts. This beach has nice sand, but wow, the beach is overflowed with Chinese tourists. My wife and I like to run along the beach, so during the non peak beach season, we love this place.
This is one of the smaller beaches in Qingdao it's also further out so it's not as crowded. Parking can be a problem and idiot drivers coupled with idiot walkers always makes being in the area a recipe for disaster. The area looks pretty they have tried to so a good job with the ocean side walk way. What kills... More
