I really enjoyed walking around this little island, enjoying the quietness (not many people there) and with the waves splashing onto the rocks and getting the smell of the ocean. I am not sure if there are always "swells" or waves, though. I was disappointed...More

Small island attached to the mainland by a causeway. To walk over the causeway there is a small fee of ¥10 per person. The island as its name implies is pretty small and you can circumnavigate it in 10 minutes. There is a lighthouse on...More

This was a lovely walk across the causeway and around the island. Well worth the very small entrance fee and great views across the harbour.

This tiny island a ways in the distance from the Zhanqiao Island is the pearl of the east for me because it was small but exquisite. Unlike the Sun Island in Harbin, this is on the ocean, on the yellow sea man! You can see...More

During the summer, you have to pay, but we went in the winter and it was free. It's a pretty nice view of the rest of Qingdao, and there's a couple cool things on the island, but not much.

I woke up early in the morning and I walked from my hotel near Huiquan Park to this attraction. It is free admission if you visit the attraction before 8 am. After that hour, there is a charge of RMB10. The way the mainland is...More

This is a very small island directly across the water from the famous Zhanqiao. Beautiful and not crowded at all. It gives you the full view of the city. If you are looking for a place to stroll and enjoy the scenic view of the...More

I lived in Qingdao for four years, and this was a place that I always loved visiting. It's just so pretty, with the Yellow Sea views and the lack of crowds (usually, although tourist season in the summertime is getting worse and worse). There is...More
