This tiny island a ways in the distance from the Zhanqiao Island is the pearl of the east for me because it was small but exquisite. Unlike the Sun Island in Harbin, this is on the ocean, on the yellow sea man! You can see the pagoda and the small hills in the distance, marvelous!

We hired a van for RMB400 a day so the drive to the island was super easy n right to the parking lot n entrance. The small qingdao island requires an entry fee of RMB10...which was reasonable. From the car park . ..we walked around the area n simply just enjoying the beautiful landscape n scenery. There are plenty of... More

You can get here from the 1st beach. Along the way there are a few good seafood and coffee shop. From here you can view the beach area of qingdao. There is a lighthouse on the island.

I woke up early in the morning and I walked from my hotel near Huiquan Park to this attraction. It is free admission if you visit the attraction before 8 am. After that hour, there is a charge of RMB10. The way the mainland is connected to the Green Islet reminded me of my Sentosa island in Singapore. But this... More

This is a very small island directly across the water from the famous Zhanqiao. Beautiful and not crowded at all. It gives you the full view of the city. If you are looking for a place to stroll and enjoy the scenic view of the city and ocean breeze, this would be a perfect place. Because of its small size,... More

I lived in Qingdao for four years, and this was a place that I always loved visiting. It's just so pretty, with the Yellow Sea views and the lack of crowds (usually, although tourist season in the summertime is getting worse and worse). There is a pretty good little coffee shop there. It's very small without a whole lot to... More

This island provides great views of the city from across the harbor. The only thing I did not like is that I could not climb the lighthouse. I don't know if that is an option but the gate was closed the day I was there.

Calm, relaxing, quiet and serene sum this place up. It is small. The entrance is easy enough to find. The long walk past the naval museum backgate is interesting. The lighthouse reminded me greatly of being in the UK. There are some interesting historical features including an old missile silo and tracks, I think they may have been added by... More
