We had a difficult time looking for the nine dragon screen. When we arrived and asked to pay 10 rmb to get inside i was expecting to see more. When we passed the gate/entrance we immediately saw the screen and thats it. 10rmb to see the screen. The place was isolated.

Like what the title says. It's literally just a wall. Unless you're really into walls/ancient Chinese culture, then this place will be OK i guess. If you want to give this wall a visit anyway, it's located in the city so it's quite accessible. There's a Chinese restaurant within walking distance from the wall as well.

It is just a wall. Not well maintained but near my hotel Datong Garden. Everyone there was just trying to get the whole wall in one shot. So when you are there, go to the gift shop on the left. There is a tree outside the gift shop. Think that spot is the favourite spot to get the whole wall,... More

Stop for 15 minutes to take a picture. No where to park. The story behind the Screen is interesting but the actual structure is just so so.

I’ve always wanted to visit this wall, as it is very famous in China. It’s a perfect attraction to visit in Datong City along with a nice walking over the huge wall surrounding the city and a delicious dinner showing a stunning noodle show!

Nice to see. Not overly touristy and could be missed if you aren't careful as it is behind a wall. We walked here from the hotel, maybe 5-10 minute walk.

not spectacular, but nice to see. There's a similar wall in Pingyao. STaff at the entrance was very rude.

Cheap place for going, it's quite good and full of history. It as just ok, but the ticket is only 10 RMB so if you are around there you must see the 9 dragon wall

We accidentally stumbled across this structure on our way back from the wall. It was a bonus as we always intended to visit but thought we would run out of time. Great history so visit if you can as these ceramic tiles are over 600 years old and still look great.
