This place is well set up over plenty of land which is needed as can get crowded. As everyone says get there early to avoid crowds & the risk of just looking at sleeping pandas.

Get there early ish as they will eat and then fall asleep. That's all they do more or less! Start up the top to beat the crowds and don't miss the red pandas too, just as interesting. No need for a tour, jump into a taxi there and back, they are v cheap. It's about 7 quid entry, don't know... More

Spent a large part of the day here, he expected this to be one of our main highlights of the tour we did, and we were right. It was great to see so many pandas ranging from 3-4 months upwards. The grounds are extensive and it would be easy to miss areas if you were not with a guide. Plenty... More

Pandas of every age from newborns to toddlers to teenagers to the moms and dads and grandparents. What a delight to watch them! Go with a guide to get the most out of the visit. We used Haba's Sichuan Travel Guide. Haba clearly loves the pandas and practically knows them all by name!

We had a wonderful day in Chengdu this past month while in China! We booked a day trip with "Jay" and he was as kind and knowledgeable as you could ask for. Jay and his driver picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the panda sanctuary early in the morning. Jay entertained us for the 90 minute... More

Lovely place, had a great time and please do come early, there are a lot of people lining up, which makes it not attractive anymore.

This place is phenomenal. The grounds are expansive and beautiful and the pandas have tons of room in the park. We got there earlier around 930 so it wasn't super busy yet. We took our time looking at all the pandas and watching the babies play. They also have a section where there's a lake filled with carp and black... More

Great viewing of the Giant Pandas and the baby pandas. It is a "zoo" setting but very well done with lots of different habitats.

Zes, you can see pandas, but keep in mind that thousands of Chinese are being pushed through this park. Probably still a great zoo, one of the better ones in China, but terribly busy.
