It is the only attraction to see in Urumqi. Not sure if it was worth the time. Too many local and no understanding of English. You have to go on a clear day and not a cloudy or rainy day.

The Mountain (or Hill) is a good place to get a view of the city, the pagoda is just ok, and there are several temples around which require and entrance fee

The place is full of noisy Chinese. The only thing of interest is a bunch of photos comparing what the neighborhood was like fifty years ago from today. The change is staggering.
