While in Shaoxing, we visited a Lu Xun native place. It is a large complex of historical buildings with LuXun memorial, gardens, and house where LuXun lived. Admission is free, with photo ID provided.

Luxun was a famous story writer. Luxun Hometown (Luxun Native Place) offers a glimpse into the ancient residence and architecture. Good for anyone with an interest in Chinese history and literature.

Luxun's hometown was a very nice place to visit. Very nice place to take pictures and stroll around. It is a clean area and has enough to see without being too overwhelmed. Look for the huangjiu or pijiu wine icecream or yogurt, it's very yummy!...More

We have walked along the streets here and looked at some street vendors' stalls. My friend got a fan here for 8 kuai which is quite cheap and also very beautiful. The rest of the street is cute but there was nothing special to buy....More
