The Café Havana is famous for its live music: indeed it's quite good (but nothing special). However, it does not start before 11 p.m. or 11:30 p.m. so don't go there early. The entry fee is really high for Colombia (30,000 pesos) and most of...More

This place is absurdly overpriced (30,000 pesos), but definitely worth it for the live music. No Colombian is going to pay this price, so you're only going to see a bunch of tourists there. I personally don't travel to party with fellow tourists, but I...More

To make things clear with this location - yes, it is touristy, but it has great live music. There's a lot of mixed reviews between people saying to go early vs not getting there early - if it's important for you to sit close to...More

Cafe Havana is a famous bar with great live music and a cool atmosphere. If you don't mind a crowded place or paying the cover, you should definitely go.

It's suppose to be famous. Maybe it is. First thing you encounter is a 30,000 COP entry fee. Then expensive drinks, compared to the neighbourhood that it is located. They want to get you in early, but the music doesn't start till later. When it...More

Not impressed. My best friend and I were approaching the front; when the bouncer was already pointing at the sign of the $30,000 ($10 US) pesos entrance fee. He tells us again while inside; it is $30,000 (we can read, and you already told us...More

It gets seriously packed in here, so arrive early to get a seat. If you're a salsa dancer who needs a little space, that's all you're going to get! The live band is super loud for the space, so bring earplugs if you value your...More

Seems like the service from Cuba reached this nice bar. Even though the pace was not full at all had to wait 20min for a beer. Also beware. Band comes on at 11:15 and cover is 30,000 peso per person approx $10.

It's preferred to have a reservation or it is better to go at 7:30-8:00 pm before the site gets crowded and it's OK for two ladies going along. Have a rum from Colombia caribbean coast and enjoy the night!
