beautiful architecture

wish i could have gotten higher up for a better picture, i say this because the roads are pretty narrow so its a bit difficult to get it all in unless you use the panoramic mode

The outside of this Church is lovely and is an easy way to find your way around the Walled City using it as a reference point. The inside is much like any other old Church.

The colour of the church is so striking. You will not miss it if you venture into the old city. I loved the colours of Cartagena.

I think they still may have mass there. Road bike in front of the buildings a few times. El Mercado Basurto was the best. Cant wait to drive to Santa Marta and pass by Baranquilla. Cartagena seems like a big waste of time when compared to other Colombian cities.

This is the main Church no Cathedral in Cartagena so an important place in the city. During the evening you can see, floodlights, the clock tower from all places. Visit the service on Sunday and find a moment of peace.

You need to get someone to arrange a visit as its under renovation but it's worth it. It was open for mass at Easter. There cathedral was built starting in the late 16th century and was set on fire by the British privateer Sir Francis Drake in 1586 destroying three of the arches. Currently the seat of the Archbishop, the... More
