We stayed down the street at the Estelar Square Hotel, and drove by this unique small sanctuary at least a dozen times. Each day, many people come and pay their respect to the Virgin Mary. Cool spot to see if in the area.

I learned about this site on Atlas Obscura. It is rumoured that Pablo Escobar had this shrine built. And his men would pray at this shrine before their 'missions,' as seen on the show Narcos.
There is even a small souvenir shop at this shrine.
While you're in the area, you can check out the former site of the Monaco building (Edificio Mónaco), where Pablo and his family lived and 'worked,' and where the car bomb assassination attempt took place. However, it was recently destroyed and is currently a construction site.
