Worth visiting as it is part of Medellins history

We did this tour with Eddie. He picked us up at the Hostel and during the car rides to the different spots he talked about the painful and bloody history. It was extremely interesting and also very reflective.
I can highly recommend doing the tour because Eddie made it very special, we ask tons of questions and learned about the transformation of the now beautiful city Medellin.

We didn’t came to Medellin because of that story but got a recommendation for this tour. So we went with Eddie (our guide) to all the important places you need to know. He gave a very respectful and transparent view on that part of the history of Columbia. We think it is important to know what happened in the past and he gave us, with respect to the victims, an great overview as a eyewitnesses. Thank you very much Eddie!

A day not to be missed...

Cesar was an exceptional guide on all levels - punctual, fluent English, generous with his time and extremely knowledgeable. We booked this tour based on previous good reviews and were beyond delighted. Cesar has extensive knowledge of Medellin and its evolution from the terror of the 1980's to its reinvention through education and art today. He has the ear of the Medellin locals and is actively involved in the rejunivation of the city, particularly with its youth. This is not a tour to be missed with an excellent guide to get beneath the superficial and understand the real Medellin.

Fascinating and fun Medellin tour!
Daniel was a fantastic tour guide!! We learned so much about the history of Medellin, the impact of Pablo Escobar and the various perceptions of local people on those topics. He allowed us our time to explore comuna 13 and was very informative about the neighborhood and it’s complexities. Thanks again Daniel!!

Amazing tour of comuna 13

Daniel was possibly one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Knowledgeable, accommodating, and all around a joy to spend the day with. We booked him for a half day tour, and he ended up spending almost the entire day with us. Would highly highly highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Comuna 13 - which was fascinating. His English was excellent, and he had excellent relationships with so many people in the community.

Thanks a lot for your help, to organise the tour, and thanks again to Andres for this amazing guide and his time spending with us. Highly recommended this tour to all who want to know true behind the lies and gossips and know the real and true history of Escobar. It was definitely worthed to do, better then any other tour related to him.We got many new informations about Medellin, how much this amazing city changed and developed in the past years, and became safe for tourists and economy friendly. I will definitely come back to Colombia ( not Columbia) and visit Medellin since this city is offering much more then most of the people think, and deserves to be full of new tourists to see, and experience how kind the people here are.
