Although it is a nice place to go be aware it is in down town where anything is possible. Beware of pick pocket prostitutes will come to you if you are alone. Best time to go there is in the morning and be out there...More

I'm not an expert in arts, so please don't be mad, if I use the word funny for the botero sculptures, but most of them simply are due their disproportioned bodies. Not a must though.

Few people speak English in Medellin, or Colombia for that matter. One of the telecomms, UNE, sells USB wireless keys to access the Internet. When I checked last year, the key cost COP 50,000 and access was COP60,000/month.
