This is a fun activity for people of all ages. There are wonderful views of Medellin barrios and the forest near it.

We found other reviews helpful to understand how it works so take the time to look at peoples advice and tips on here. We took the first part of the journey over the barrios and it's spectacular and very well organised. The second part takes you a long way over the top of the mountain and over acres of parkland... In a city with few "must-see" tourist attractions it's well worth taking a trip on the Metrocable. We made the mistake of buying a 10 journey pass in Poblado metro station when all you need is a single ticket. This gets you to Acevedo where you get off the train and take the cable car to Santo Domingo without needing... More

really cheap, fun and save way to a lot of Medellin! We went on both the Medellin Metrocables and they were both great! One tip: if you want to put your phone on the edge of the bench to make a timelapse it will fall behind it. (and it can be quite stressfull the back it back :))

The only benefit I see to the ride is the opportunity to discover a barrio. The view of the city is good, and it gives an idea of its size, but I wouldn't call that view pretty. Don't forget to buy tickets to go back to the center when you buy your tickets to go up: the line is VERY... More

The metro`s culture has expanded their philosophy up the sky. The metro cable of Medellin is clear prove of the "Paisa" committed with the massive public transport of the city. There you can see the city from above, from the Arvi park up to the "comunas"

We rode until the end station where you get great views over Medellin. As long as you don't get out of the metro station you can ride back on a single ticket.
