Fun time -- watch for windy afternoons

We did an afternoon of paddle boarding. It was fun, but I was told the best time to do this is in the morning as the wind isn't as much of a factor. We spent a good bit of time trying our hardest to move against the wind and current in the bay. We laughed a lot and had fun,... More

What I love about Extreme Windsurfing is that it always feels like you have your very own little spot. Here, you can be as laid back or as advanced as you like, without ever feeling like you have anything to prove. The people who run the business are so welcoming, and even though I left the area years ago, going... More

Excellent instruction for our beginner group. The equipment was in good shape and the young instructor was friendly and very experienced. Great day paddle boarding. I was here a few years back for windsurfing lessons with the same experience. This is the best spot for these things and apparently kite boarding as well. Warm water and perfect winds.

Aside form the location being really good for windsurfing, Jim provides excellent service for any equipment issues you may have. I purchased most of my equipment from him, great value from a great guy!

On a good Summer day when the thermals are in mid to upper teens there will be over a dozen sailors launching from the beach. The deck above the beach has two gazebos to and picnic tables. Jim at Extreme Windsurfing is extremely helpful with gear/rentals/lessons.
