A lot of islands to visit

Its a great way to do Island hoping, or just go and stay on one of the islands. They are not cheap, more expensive then one would Think, but a nice way to see the achipelago.

We took the Jadrolinija boat from Bary, Italy to Dubrovnik. There are close to no instructions for those who have never taken the trip. Thank goodness for GPS because there are no street signs that indicate where to go. The staff was very unhelpful and pretty rude as if were already supposed to know what they expected us to do.... We used the ferry service between Dubrovnik, Korcula, Hvar and Split. Each time they were packed and you were left to your own devices to lug your luggage up and a gang blank. Once on broad the same thing happened your luggage was stored and everything else piled on top. There's no announcement when you arrive at you destination, we... More

I took the ferry from Hvar to Split and was MUCH better than the ferry service I had from Dubrovnik to Split. For one, the seats seemed more spacious, and there was an air ventilation system so the trip was comfortable. Fairly priced, easy to access, on time.

We took the catamaran from Split to visit Hvar. It takes 1 hour to get there. It was very comfortable and you get a chance to see the islands. The staff could be friendlier.

What a day out! The ferry was very cheap and speedy, and we had a lovely time exploring the beaches of Preko. Highly recommend getting the tiny boat with the most amazing old man to row you over to galevac - an even tinier island with a monastery! We could've spent hours there.

Took the ferry for a day trip to Hvar. It was on time. However, I did not appreciate the lack of communication from the ship's staff. They should at least tell passengers the destination, duration of trip, emergency procedures, etc. Not a word. Good thing I had my iPhone's GPS to confirm the itinerary.

We are visiting Hvar island from Drvenik to Sucuraj. When we arrived the ferry was already full and we had to wait for two hours (there is a small beach and bar). Jadrolinija does not allow to make reservations and the only way to enter in a ferry is being in a queue for hours and without the security of... More

I used the Jadrolinija catamaran to get from Dubrovnik to Korcula island, the home of the explorer Marco Polo. The catamaran inside has very little legspace and many of the seats needed to be repaired. When disembarking in the evening (return journey) it took 20 minutes to get off the boat. This is because over 200 people - many with... More
