Went playa loberia twice during my stay in San Cristobal for 4nights. The playa is located inabout 3 km away from the town(malecon) and either you can walk or take a taxi. When the sun is too scorching, it's better to take a taxi. The...More

There were more sea lions on the beach the two days we went. The first day was really good for snorkeling as we saw plenty of fish and turtles. The water was murky the second day. Go in the afternoon when the water is calmer...More

We read reviews that said we'd be stepping over sea lions, there were even signs that warned us about the amount of sea lions. There were two. When we were snorkeling, we did see some sea turtles, and maybe a squid, but the waves/tide caused...More

We visited this beach and could not have been happier. This beach was amazing with epic views. Sea lions all over and the waves were perfect. Cannot wait to return.

La Loberia is a great beach within easy walking distance of town. On the walk in we saw iguana, herons. Did some snorkeling, but mostly just enjoyed the warm, turquoise waters,

This was our first stop in the Galapagos and we had a great experience, its fun to watch the Sea Lions chilling or playing, though they are a little smelly. If you walk further along the beach there is a lot of lava fields and...More

We came to Isla San Cristobal in March. There were lots of pups in the water. The iguanas even bury their eggs during this time. The beach "Liberia" is fine with lots of sea lions but we found another "Loberia" very close to the dock...More
