The beach was really beautiful and safe for families. The snorkeling was quite good in a protected cove, with lots of sea life within reach. It's about a four dollar taxi ride from town, and be careful because there is no way to summon a...More

This place may be sea lion beach, but we saw a lot more turtles than sea lions. Regardless, this was a nice spot to go to. Just know that there are no facilities.

This was a lovely little spot to spend the morning snorkeling and observing the sea lions playing. The snorkeling was great. My husband almost dove right into a sea turtle as soon as he entered the water so we knew right away that we'd enjoy...More

There are lots of sea lions and their pups on the playa area. I feel like we, humans, have invaded their space. It will be better to make La Loberia as a special zone for the sea lions than for tourists. Some parts of the...More

The beach is nice, lots of sea lions. Keep in mind that the beach is theirs, they only accept us there. Lots of babies, so watch out for the big alpha male agressively looking after his mates.

We went to about half a dozen beaches while on San Cristobal. This was our favorite by far. The beach is in a crescent shape and is spectacular. There is a place you can snorkel and see turtles, fish, and sea lions. It can be...More

The beach is beautiful, a nice bike ride from town, or a $3 taxi ride, or a 20 minute walk. The seals are quite entertaining and the walk out to the point is marine iguana-ville. I lost count of how many times I almost stepped...More
