You can walk it from town (it makes a nice early morning run) or get a taxi for USD3. Walk all the way to the cliffs for seabrids and lots of iguanas. There is easy swimming and snorkelling on the main beach, with plenty of fish, plus the odd turtle and ray.

We paid 3$ for a taxi which was a 4-5 mins ride from town to the beginning of town to the path down to the beach. When we first saw the beach it was nothing but rocks and a hard surf but as we continued walking down the beach we found a small beautiful calm bay. The snorkeling here was... More

It was just a great way to wind down the day after the highland tour. It was so much fun to hang out with the sea lions and see the iguanas scampering about.

The water was clear and you could see fish underneath. We played with the baby seal and had a good time.

We visited the beach after a trip to the highlands and had our taxi driver drop us off. There isn't a lot of natural shade here, so bring plenty of sunscreen. There are a good number of sea lions here as well as marine iguanas and some decent snorkeling. We saw quite a few pups and some good fights between... More

Las Loberias has a lovely little beach when you arrive which was full of sea lions – mostly snoozing on the beach with some playing around in the surf. Once you get beyond the beach there's a fantastic walk of about 45 minutes that takes you over the volcanic rock used by seemingly hundreds of iguanas to sun themselves. It... More

Plenty of animals and birds to be seen here. This is a lovely long beach included in most of the tours, thus at some times of the day there are many other tourists keeping you company. Good for snorkelling, great to see the sealions and lizards. I walked further along to a higher point where you can see many nesting... More
