Big white beach. I enjoyed the walk through the forest to get to this beach. I am not a beach person and went hoping to see wildlife on the beach not much the time I was there.

Take a bottle of water and your snorkel gear to really enjoy this amazing beach. The long cobbled walkway leads through traditional Galapagos brush that provides a home to finches, mocking birds and lizards. After you've signed in at the entry and completed the 2km walk you're greeted by a stunning white beach, broken only by the dark lava rock... More

The powdery white sand and the black volcanic outcrops make this a beautiful piece of shoreline, with marine iguanas, shorebirds and nesting sea turtles in season. The 30 mn walk along a well maintained paved path is pleasant and totally worth it. Make a right onto the 1st open beach: it has great waves for boarding. However, the adjacent cove... More

The 2km path to the beach is sublime at sunrise. Finches and Mockingbirds everywhere, no city sounds. The construction of this path expertly balances nature's right to be preserved with our human need to experience and respect it. 5 stars to EC Natl Park Service! After a very pleasant thirty minute walk, you arrive at a wide, gorgeous, undeveloped beach.... More

Its a beautiful beach with white sand and so much marine life! From iguanas, to baby sharks, rays, birds etc!! A great place to snorkel. You get to the beach after walking approx 2 kilometers, no shade so its hot but its paved and if you take water then you will be fine! There are cactus trees along the walk... More

The walk is really long and not the easiest, however it is a stunning beach and worth the walk. Pack water and a snacks if you plan to spend time there. We were told that you can't swim there but there is a small reef area near the lagoon that has some sea life and you can snorkel there. The... More

So the walk to it is well worth it. Take lots of water and suncream and any food you may want during the day. The actual swimming place was so-so and very muddy. We went round the corner near to the surfing beach(very good waves) and there was a lagoon where we swam with over 20 small sharks and luckily... More

Well been to some beaches all over the world and this is in my top 3! Surround yourself in white tip and black tip reef sharks (mostly around 1 foot long) - they don't harm you . Amazing experience and then stroll the beach to find the black iguana's sunbathing on the sand! Also saw a moray eel in the... More
