Have been the same for last, at least, 70 years, with very few maintenance done. But, diving in the hot water for fifteen to twenty minutes acts as the best anti-stress medicine; when I walked out I just wanted to sleep. There are also some volcano mud that it is supposed to be excellent for the skin.

Since I was a child my parents have taken me to this magic place, from always there was the called “healing mud”. The first time they forced me to enter but then I loved it. It didn’t have any ugly smell. It’s a tourist resort with swimming pools, courts and thermal pools; as my parents have told me that complex... More

The main attraction is a volcano of natural water with a temperature of 42 degrees Celsius, more a volcanic crater of mud, the people can get this mud on the skin because it contains some... More

With my family, we headed for the thermal baths. After a few taxi rides we arrived at San Vicente. If you are looking for fancy and fussy with lots of ambiance, this is not the place for you. This is a basic thermal bath that has the addition of the mud pool and massages and a steam room. It was very... More

OK, this place is a little unorthodox! But do it just for the fun! Lather yourself with volcanic mud. Get an amazing 30 minute massage for $5. Relax in the hot mineral waters. Finish the day with a cold coconut water for $1.50. This is a half day treat you will remember. But also remember the camera. Some moments will... More

Its a long time (but very rundown) favorite of some older loyal locals. Needs some elbow grease and maintenance both in the baths and out. There are weeds and piles of debris along the walkways with a family of buzzards hanging around the roof tops of the abandoned buildings nearby. For some reason, everyone keeps a blind eye to the... This is a local resident special treat. It is rustic, very rustic. It is really cheap, very basic, and the hot spring, massage with aloe, and steam room all feels amazing.

This is not a fancy American spa. However, it is a fun and unique experience. We got both aloe and mud treatments. Both come with massages, you choose the length. The aloe was very slippery and I nearly fell off the table. My family had the same experience and we laughed and slid to the showers. The mud was supposedly... More

Grosses thong I've ever done. I couldn't wait to leave. Filthy nasty mud. The mud was full of trash and plenty of unknowns to step on in mud. Felt and looked as tho I was deep in human waste. Don't go
