I came back to El Gouna after many years and came to Zeytouna Beach with great joy, but my joy turned into a great disappointment.
The condition of the beach is disgraceful compared to previous years, there is a lot of rubbish on the ground, but the real shock was when I went to the beach restaurant of Three Corners.
A big hotel chain like Three Corners serves only one kind of food a day at the beach restaurant. I've never seen anything like this anywhere in the world.
The waiters in the restaurant are very friendly but although there are guests at only a few tables, the waiters are in chaos and the restaurant management is a disgrace. The start time of lunch is 12:30, but although they only serve one kind of food, the food cannot come to the buffet before 12:45.
The organisation is a disaster!!!
Even though today's meal was a simple spaghetti bolognese, the meal started late and the food was cold.
I think the restaurant management is getting worse every day.

Even 1 STAR is too much for this restaurant!!!

We have been coming to el gouna for years we have always been greeted nicely from the staff and never had to pay a fee. However, when we got there today our parents were allowed straight through but me and my sisters aging from 16-20 were stopped and were spoken to rudely by the entrance staff saying we had to pay and entry fee. We tried to explain to them are parents had already gone through and our auntie had an owners card. They kept telling us that we need to call our parents even though it costs us a lot of money. In the end we called our parents we told the staff there coming. 5 minutes later one of the staff members told us they need to hurry up. When they got there the staff were also rude to them saying they need to pay they wouldn’t let them explain that our auntie had and owners card and we should and have always been let on the beach. Very Very disappointed by the service of the staff here as we have always been greeted with welcoming arms by other staff around el gouna.

Went to try out Zeytuna beach after high recommendations, and won’t be going back. I think they just dumped sand on concrete and called it a beach - no wonder many of the corals died. Not crazy pretty and you will have constant people coming up to you to sell trips. Over and over again and persistent.
Nice that there were chairs and cushions, and sun. Basically the redeeming qualities of it. Nice to have a pier to walk our into the water and go into the sea, but that’s about it. More comfortable at our hotel.

Despite the amazing nature serrounding the hotel, the staff was horrible. There was a photographer who was holding a professional camera and claimed that he works at the hotel invaded my privacy. I saw him taking photos of my mum without her permission and when I confronted him, he was very rude and said "this is a public beach not a private one and I work for the hotel"... My mum and I were forced to leave the area because this stupid photographer wants to take photo sessions of two ladies.. We waited him for more than ten minutes and the beach is very narrow. This person is not educated about etiquette and not educated at all because those who use professional camera should use an isolated corner to take their photos not to oblige us to leave

Shameful. This used to be the coolest place in Gouna. It’s horrible , dirty , with the poorest customer service and most mediocre food. Toilets and services need major refurbishment. Weird system : if you want to order food and drinks , you can only do so via credit card and advance payment at the cashier : you have to walk all the way until the cashier then you order your food. Guys: this is a vacation spot not a prison or a school cantine ! A disgrace compared to what it used to be in the 90’s : fun , music , dance and great food and drinks. But that was in the past. Never again .

A perfect place to relax. Beach staff were great and very helpful. Plenty of options for food and drink. Great place to watch the kite surfers. Only a very short boat trip from our hotel.

Was my first time visiting this beach as I was staying in Three corners Rihana Resort. A very clean beach, food and beverages, water sports, snorkeling spot after the marina. Free boats to/from the hotel every hour.

We went on the boat to this island. We enjoyed the ride but were unimpressed by the island. The beaches were uninspiring, the sand looked dirty. The places to eat and drink in the main were scruffy and badly maintained. At a place on the beach we ordered a coffee which was undrinkable. We returned to our hotel on the next available boat.

We spent two days of our one week holiday on Zeytuna Beach and enjoyed every minute. The access to the reef is very good from the end of the jetty but you should wear flip flops as the wooded floor becomes rather painful, the jetty is very long. If the few salesmen irritate you they accept a firm no thanks and dont bother you, however you can book a boat trip much cheaper here than through the Thomas Cook Rep. 20 pounds each for snorking including lunch, picked up and returned to hotel and dolphins or pay TCook 50 pounds each!!!!
Toilets and showers are very good and the food and drink at the restaurant are good and reasonably priced. Arena Inn offer a service for all inclusive guests only on the beach but the other restaurant is much better belonging to Sultan Bay and they make you welcome.

This uninspiring, not quite grim, patch of sand is really an overspill for local hotels to send guest to in the high season. It is unloved and devoid of anything genuine. Free transport back and to of course. Everything else on the island exists for the sole purpose of extracting cash from those who are now trapped until the next boat arrives .
