We were made very welcome by the attendant who explained a little about the Rainforest and then we set off. It is a strenuous hike but it gives you great insight in to the local endemic plants. It is just off the main road between...More

We specifically set out in our hire car to find this place as it was a hot day and we wanted to visit a waterfall. It was about an hour from where we were staying. When we arrived the gates were closed despite the sign...More

A must see when on Vanua Levu. The sights and the surroundings are amazing. If on a hot day going here will help you cool slightly.

We ventured out to the reserve by bus. It looked appealing but unfortunately it was closed (during scheduled opening hours) and the two phone numbers provided did not connect. Unless you have a car it may not be worth the time consuming journey out there...More

Low key and interesting this walk is definitely worth taking if you are in the Savusavu area. High in the hill but only 1/2 hour form Savusavu it does have a range of tropical species and gives you a good indication of the local forest...More
