Golconda fort has lot of history, we specially wanted to see the jail where Shri. Ramadas was imprisoned famously known as Ramadas cherasala. Apart from that most of it is in ruins but the view from the top is amazing.

It's a Historical Fort less maintained. Nothing to see who have seen Jaipur forts. Good for new comers. Difficult to go with children as you have to climb a lot.

If you want to know about the Bahamani Sultanete and the various interesting facts about the rise and fall of the kingdom, then this is the place for you. Make sure to see the beautiful light and sound show which is pretty informative.
