Had planned the trip a month back. Due to delayed flight reached late in evening. Missed the booking of 6 pm then again online booked for 8 pm. Reached entry point at 7.30. It was raining heavily. So the crowd was negligible. But after the special Darshan line merged with main line it was bit crowded but for 15 or... More

Crowd was less, Had Dharshan by 2 hours Yesterday. If you are going to travel from Chennai , take the route via Thirvalluer, Thiruthani. Road is not super good, one could travel with a constant speed of 60-80. Book the Darshan ticket and carry id proof with you. Look for the entrance location specified in the ticket, so that you... Exceptional cleanliness despite the massive crowds. Polite and helpful staff. Read and understand instructions properly, depending on type of darshan ticket,to have a peaceful pilgrimage.

Tirumala temple holds an important place in any Hindu life and we do not mind any dis comfort. Usually it takes 3 to 4 hours for darshan. When I went, no crowds fromTamil Nadu were there, due to the CM's demise. Hence the expected crowd was only half. Had a darshan in 35 minutes time.
