Good place visit. It is the biggest mountain of gujarat. Total 10000 stairs. It will challenge your strength and fitness. Best time to start climbing is before sunrise. So that you can view sunrise on top or while climbing.

Ancient city of gujarat, junagadh famous for Girnar and temples. you have to visit Bhavnath temple. visit during arti time. also take blessings from Mrigi kund. there are some other good temples. for kids, before temple one ground studed with rides. you can start climbing grinar from bhavnath temple.

We made a trip of Girnar Mountain with family last week for a social function. Our Function was at Shri Lambe Hanuman Temple, Bhavnath Taletl, Junagadh. Girnar is a historical place with many heritage places. Actually my Uncle(Mamaji) is living Junagadh. So we visited Junagadh last week, after completion of my Son's exams. We reached there at evening and started journey to Girnar Mountain early in the morning. We visited many holy and historical places in the way to Girnar mountain. We arranged a trip at Girnar Temples last Week.We started from Historical places in the way. Ashok's Shilalekh, Damodar Kund, Lambe Hanuman Temple,Datar Dargah, and many more places. This temple is built on peak of the mountain, known as Girnar, is just 4 km east of the center of Junagadh. A hike up the mountain is best started early in the morning, if anybody want to return on the same day as climbing the steps takes more than 8 hours to reach the top. The returning can be... More

Girnar mountain is older mountain then the himalaya. It has a total 9999 steps which is a miracle itself. When you see from right direction Girnar hill is a human face structure that made itself a miracle.

At the behest of a family friend we planned our visit to Girnar parbat. We started at exact 0000 hours from Somnath in the middle of the night since the climb must start in the wee hours before sunset. The journey from Somnath to Girnar parbat is around 100 kms.
