Small, compact, historical mosque, known for its marvellous piece of "Jali" - a mesh cut out in stone - depicting the fusion of Hindu and Muslim culture. It has been adopted as logo of the Ahmedabad City as well as the IIM, Ahmedabad

The jaalis are intricately designed. It is located on a main road with high traffic movement, but takes 15 minutes to visit.

incredibly intricate jali, or latticed stonework. however, women aren't allowed inside which was a disappointment so you have to lean over from the sidewalk to try and get a good view. didn't really create a nice feel.
