I have been to the mosque several times in the past.All the mosques in the city are extremely open to visitors and photography. You must leave the footwear before you enter the main mosque area and then you are free to either pray or click.

Sidi Saiyed's mosque is a 10 minute attraction famous for it's carvings. It's near the river Sabarmati on the old city part. Not to be missed along with it is LUCKY's tea stall which is just opposite to this place.
