A must visit. Very neat and clean with beautiful gardens. Very unique exhibitions which depict the life of Swami Narayan. There are 5 exhibition halls and all are airconditioned. There is only 1 entry ticket for all. If one is short of time then Exhibition hall 3 can be definitely skipped. It’s a slightly long movie on Swami Narayan with... More

Just seeing the water show is well worth the visit even if you are not so religious minded . The temple itself is fantastic and the whole complex is beyond beautiful.

I have been to Delhi Askhardham earlier. This was my first visit to Gandhinagar's Akshardham. Unfortunately we ended up going on Sunday. So first recommendation is to avoid holidays and weekends to visit this place. Like Delhi, here also it gets very crowded and everything you do in Akshardham takes more then usual. Vedic water show is highlight of Akshardham... More

Nice religious place to know every thing about Swaminarayana Sect. Situated in a sprawling complex with huge buildings and lot of greenery. The place is very well organised and the life of all the Swamis is explained using latest technology. Very nice paintings inside. Good canteen with variety of foods. Nice place to have darshan and time with family.
