Loved the temple architecture which was pretty ornate and beautiful...worth a visit!
P.S. Entry in minimals/ shorts/body exposing clothes not allowed. They had to give me a dhoti to cover my legs as I was wearing shorts!

This temple has been in use since it was built in 1840's, the architecture seems timeless, the details of the carvings and the walls of the temple are amazing.
There was a service going during our visit, we sat down and took it all in, the hymns, the music and the environment was very calming for me.
Need to dress well, temples in India will not let you in with shorts, or skimpy tops, carry a shawl to cover your upper body for ladies, that is acceptable. These are places of worship for the locals. Ask the staff, if you are in shorts or an open top, to give you a sheet to cover yourself, to look dignified to enter, your trip will not go in vain.
Entrance is free, there is a donation box, I did leave a small gesture tip to show my appreciation of my visit.

Located close to the Delhi Darwaza in Shahibaug. A peaceful place worth visiting with stupendous architecture, though photography inside the temple is not allowed.
Evening times are good for sitting on the benches and soaking in the architecture from a distance. People from all background are allowed.

The temple is serene and appealing. The carvings on the pillars and walls/ceiling of the temple are very intricate and good. Visiting the temple will hardly take you 15 mins so one should surely visit it.

30 min if you just want to walk through. An hour if you really want to look at the buildings and detail put into them.
