Worth a Visit

Its 3 hour journey from Vadodara. But worth a visit. Note: Carry xerox copies of your photo id. Best time to visit is in monsoons. Summers can be very taxing.

This place is very famous for the nature lovers as well as technical persons especially electrical engineers because it is in actual a large hydro power plant. For the nature lovers there are some beautiful places are constructed near the dam. Monsoon is the best time to visit.

Seems a dull place to visit. Nothing happening. If you are not allowed to view the machinery, the visit is just a waste. If you never seen a garden or stored water or something - you may visit it

This is longest canal in Gujarat and had been covered with solar panel at many places to help generate electricity and also save water evaporation. Can be viewed from NH 8

We were taken here by our local acquaintances. Not actually a tourist spot per se, but the solar panels were of interest.
