Such a beautiful calm and serene lake, the house boats are so so lovely, a world of their own, authentic kashmiri cuisine as well. can't ask for more on a holiday.

Dallake is main attraction in Srinagar we had shikara ride in Dallake it was awesome experience of my life. Shikara ride was best option to do in Srinagar. Nice experience and family friendly people in Srinagar we enjoy a lot.

Good place but need maintenance. The Sikkaras seems to be over priced. The whole ride was side tracked by hawkers. Because of people around and chasing you to sell their goods you lost your purpose of enjoying the place. The goods are overpriced also.

Standing water with mountains covered with snow at the background, colorful shikaras and house boats floating make an ideal picture on the canvas.

A shikara ride is definitely relaxing. But there is a continuous nag but the shikara owners as you take a stroll on the lake side.
