We visited in mid september. And the weather was too cold. Our itinerary was Leh- Nubra valley- Pangong-Leh. I would recommend this route instead of leh-nubra-leh and leh-pangong-leh, and this will avoid repetition of routes as well. Nubra to pangong route is not always open...More

Visited this place during end of September. The highest lake, you can enjoy the serenity, calmness and the colors of this lake in the noon time. But make sure to have a night stay here.

Its end of tourist season. Snow will start at the peaks. Main city will start getting closed down with hoteliers moving out. You can try but it would be very few tourists and cold climate.
