I love seeing animals, but zoo animals always makes me feel a bit upset. Took the safari and it was fun to be up close to lions and tigers, but the zoo part where the animals were in small cages was not fun.

See the tigers, lions, bears, deers roam freely for real in the mini safari. The zoo also houses animals you can see closely . A great collection of birds, reptiles, mammals both local and exotic makes Bannerghatta a treat for animal lovers. Recommended for everyone. Would advise buying tickets online to escape the long queues.

I came from Israel to see the beautiful and Incredible India. This place is neither! Animals should be free and have their natural habitat around them. Not cages, chains and bars. We as a race that rules the world should understand that and take responsibility for them. Otherwise wildlife will be gone. Even though I'm against animal captivity I decided... More

A good place to hang out for children and family. The Zoo does not have much to see except for the Hippos and Turtles. The Safari was very good and I saw that most of the Animals - Lions, Bears etc were sleeping by the Roadside. Not sure if the Animals are drugged or something but it felt like it.... More

We saw a white tiger and Bengal tiger up close. Tips: 1. Go for jeep safari if you can afford. We took normal safari because jeep and... More

Good enough zoo experience with a special bus/van tour closer to the wild beings. Decently maintained with a nice market outside.
