This is a dangerous place. Cauvery flows thru narrow and deep gorges. Its slippery and people have lost their lives. Crocodiles infested. Dont get into water

Great place to enjoy the nature with the mountains in the background and the silent crystal clear river waters. One needs to definitely take the coracle ride which costs around Rs 40 per person. There is no entrance fee to this place as of now.

HI Gayathri, This would be a dry period at Sangam. You may have little water flowing there. There is enough trees around the place. Because of water around you may enjoy some greenery. But the best time is post monsoon and... More

Yes. You can visit now. There is not much water now but you can still enjoy the place. Go during weekends and in mid-day, it is safe absolutely during this time for couples. Vacate the place before 5 pm and reach Kanakpura... More

No, you have to carry a little gas and stove. You can cook in the corner of the river bed. But that's good only on the other side of river bank. A bit interior from the views of the police guards.
